For so long in my business, I wanted to focus on the stuff I loved WITHOUT focusing on the things that would actually move the needle (a.k.a. make MONEY!). 🤑⁠

👉🏼 Redesigning my website 8000 times⁠
.⁠
👉🏿 “Rebranding” to match my “personality”⁠
.⁠
👉 Introducing 10 new products when the first one didn’t sell⁠
.⁠
👉🏾 Spending 3 hours on one Instagram post⁠
.⁠
YUP, this is the stuff that doesn’t actually matter, like, at all. Of course having a professional website is amazing and having consistent branding makes helps clients recognize us, but that’s only a small part of running a successful business.⁠

💸 Our number ONE priority needs to be on 1. finding our ideal clients + customers and 2. getting in front of them with a sick offer.⁠

I promise, it doesn’t have to be any more complicated than that!⁠

It could be 30 days, 60 days, 90 days or even longer before some people make sales in their business. 😳

❗️And yes… I’ve been there! And yes, it suuuucks!

❌ But feeling discouraged and not making money are NOT the biggest problems! ❌

👉🏽 The biggest problem is a lack of momentum.
.
Because a lack of momentum leads to uncertainty. And uncertainty is what makes people give up!❗️❗️❗️

🌟 Imagine running your online business is like hopping on a swing set.
.
At the beginning, you’re just sitting at the bottom like a rock. 🥌 In order to get swinging super high, you need to start pumping those legs!

And this is why we all loved getting pushed as kids, right?! 🤪

👉🏻 And as a kid, you wouldn’t try pumping 3 times and think, “hmmm, this technique doesn’t work! Let me try it with one leg!” because you know you would lose all your momentum!

Instead, we knew we had to keep going. 💪Keep working at it. 💪🏾 Keep pushing. Keep repeating the motions. 💪🏻

And eventually, momentum would take over and we would be reaching the top of the swing set!👈🏽

Ever wonder why you can take courses, join program

Ever wonder why you can take courses, join programs, hire coaches, and you still feel “stuck”? 🤨
.
It’s really simple… building a 6-figure business is only 10% strategy.👏🏽
.
But most of us think it’s 100% strategy!
.
😩 So when something fails or takes longer than expected, we freak out, am I right?!
.
We’ll stop being consistent, buy another program, change our niche, or rewrite our Instagram bio in the hopes that we’ll find the perfect strategy to skyrocket our business.🙄🙄

❌❌And it never works.

Because the truth is, we need to work on the other 90% of business which is our mindset.😳

👏🏽 We need to feel worthy of success.

👏🏽 We need to let go of fear, guilt, and anxiety around money.

Because being consistent, and doing what you need to for your business (especially when you can’t see any progress) is what separates 6-figure entrepreneurs from everybody who DOESN’T make it. 💣

💕💕 Remind yourself every day that you’re worthy of receiving money and abundance and remember that forcing yourself to be disciplined is actually the ultimate act of self-love.

🙀💣My first 3 launches BOMBED. We’re talking WORSE than crickets.
.
💣 My first ever launch was $0!
.
💣 My second launch was $0.
.
💣 My third launch was… wait for it … $99! (that was one sale, btw!)
.
That means in 6 months, I had made $99. Brutal. 😳
.
I was so freakin’ discouraged I can’t even tell you. It sucked!
.
😩 I was frustrated, embarrassed, and mad at myself for not being able to make the money I SHOULD have been able to make in my business!
.
💕 But here’s the thing... I didn’t 👏🏽 give 👏🏽 up! 👏🏽 After throwing a pity party (3 times) I got up, dusted myself off and tried again.
.
💸🎉My fourth launch was $18,640.
.
What did I do differently?
.
🚀 I prepped for 40 days. I organized my content, outlined my strategy and executed.
.
🚀 I wasn’t afraid to have REAL conversations! If there was someone I thought I could help, I reached out to them!
.
🚀 I did the things that made me uncomfortable. I showed up EVERY DARN DAY to serve my audience. And at the end, I actually ASKED for the sale! 💸
.
If you’re where I was on launch 1, 2, or 3, don’t give up! 💪 Your launch #4 is coming and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. 💕

Two years ago, I completely gave up on my online business! 🤮

I had been blogging for years without making more that 4-figures (in a YEAR😩) and by this point I had 2 failed course launches under my belt.
.
😢 I felt totally hopeless.
.
I was so desperate to run my online business full time, but it seemed like no matter what I did, it kept failing! 🚫

And every time I had a setback in my business, I would pivot. I was constantly:

😳 changing my niche,

😳 rebranding my business,
.
😳 reinventing new strategies, and
.
😳 questioning myself.

I assumed every setback or mistake meant that I was was on “the wrong path” and that I needed to totally revamp my entire business!
